There are so many details in designing an audio-video system, noise
isolation and construction, interior design and acoustical materials,
lighting, seating, what contractor should come in when, what the budget
should be, what reasonable cost are and on that it can be overwhelming.
Many clients are unprepared for the myriad of decisions they must make
and the time each takes from your day.
Preparation, clearly defined expectations, patience but persistance are
the key. I provide relief from most of the mundane decisions by
providing direection to each contractor on the project. You can't
be left out of the process because, after all, it's your home and you
need to be happy with the outcome. You'll still need to make the
decisions on what contractor, the final interior design, your budget,
what speakers you like best and what chair to sit in among many others.
I'll inspect the work as it progresses, help each trade with questions
and facilitate communication between all parties involved and keep you
in the loop.
